What are Content Credits?

We operate on a Content Credit System to ensure total transparency between your creative vision and our production resources. Instead of a rigid number of videos, your monthly retainer provides you with a set number of Content Credits.

Depending on your selected package, you will have a monthly budget of 4, 6, or 8 credits. This system allows you to prioritize high-volume consistency or high-impact quality within a fixed monthly cost.

Defining Content Credits

A Content Credit is our unit of measurement for production complexity. Every video we produce falls into one of three tiers based on the required pre-production, filming, and editing time.

Tier 1: The Standard Reel (1 Credit).Designed for pre-scripted talking-head videos that only have one location and scene and can be read from a teleprompter.

  • Pre-Production: 1 hour for concept and scripting.

  • Production: 1 hour of filming at one location.

  • Post-Production: 2 hours for basic text and standard transitions.

Tier 2: The Advanced Reel (2 Credits).Designed for more complex videos that may have two locations or scenes and will take more time in pre-production, production and post-production to execute.

  • Pre-Production: 2 hours for storyboarding and scene planning.

  • Production: 2 hours of filming with multiple scenes or locations.

  • Post-Production: 4 hours for motion graphics and precise sound design.

Tier 3: The Commercial Reel (4 Credits)Designed for high-impact brand stories and paid advertisements. If you want your video to be as good as possible, this is the route to take.

  • Pre-Production: 4 hours for full creative direction and shot listing.

  • Production: 4 hours of filming with professional lighting and a half-day shoot.

  • Post-Production: 8 hours for premium colour grading and visual effects.

How to Allocate Your Retainer

During our monthly strategy session, we evaluate your goals and determine how to spend your credits. You have the flexibility to mix and match tiers to fit your needs.

Example: The 6-Credit Retainer

  • Option A: 6 Standard Reels for maximum volume.

  • Option B: 1 Advanced Reel + 4 Standard Reels for a mix of depth and volume.

  • Option C: 1 Commercial Reel + 2 Standard Reels for one high-impact launch.

Example: The 8-Credit Retainer

  • Option A: 8 Standard Reels for daily engagement.

  • Option B: 2 Advanced Reels + 4 Standard Reels for narrative-driven growth.

  • Option C: 1 Commercial Reel + 4 Standard Reels for a major brand campaign.

Operational Guidelines

Scope Assessment During the planning phase, we will categorize each requested concept as a Standard, Advanced, or Commercial asset. This ensures you know exactly how your monthly credits are being utilized before production begins.

Lead Times: Advanced and Commercial projects require a minimum 14-day lead time for pre-production to ensure we can secure locations and finalize creative direction.

Monthly Utilization: To maintain an efficient production schedule, credits must be used within the billing month. Any unused credits do not roll over to the following month.
